Python Programming

This track takes you from Python syntax to building and deploying real applications. You write scripts in week one, APIs by month two, and ship a capstone web service in month three. Mentors review your code the same way they review client work at Aprosoft.

    • Variables, control flow, and data structures
    • Functions, modules, and virtual environments
    • File I/O, JSON, and working with CSV data
    • Debugging and reading tracebacks
  2. Object-oriented Python

    3 weeks
    • Classes, inheritance, and composition
    • Decorators and context managers
    • Package structure and pip workflows
    • Code style and documentation habits
  3. Web APIs and databases

    4 weeks
    • HTTP, REST, and API design basics
    • FastAPI or Django REST Framework
    • SQL fundamentals and ORM models
    • Authentication and validation patterns
  4. Testing, automation, and deployment

    3 weeks
    • pytest and test-driven habits
    • Scripting for automation and cron jobs
    • Environment variables and config
    • Deploying to a cloud host or VPS

Projects you will build

Personal expense tracker CLI

A command-line app that logs expenses, exports CSV reports, and persists data locally.

Inventory API capstone

A REST API with user auth, CRUD endpoints, and a simple admin dashboard frontend optional.
